Welcome to Studio Vocal Recorder Support!
Whether you are laying down your first demo or mixing a polished track, Studio Vocal Recorder puts a professional audio engine right in your pocket. Browse our guides and FAQs below to get the most out of your vocal sessions.
🚀 Getting Started
How do I record my first vocal take?
Connect your wired headphones (recommended for the best audio quality and zero latency).
Tap the Record button to start capturing your vocals.
Use the dedicated faders to adjust your vocal volume and mix.
Can I record multiple takes? Yes! Studio Vocal Recorder includes robust take management. You can record several variations, easily switch between them to find your best performance, and use our full Undo/Redo support if you make a mistake.
🎛️ Pitch Correction & Auto-Tuning
How do I find the right key for my song? You don't have to guess! Use the Smart Auto-Key Detection feature. The app will automatically analyze your recorded vocals to instantly find the correct musical Key and Scale (Major, Minor, or Chromatic).
How do I get that classic hard-snapping autotune effect? Once you have your key set, turn on Professional Auto-Tune. To get that classic robotic, hard-snapping effect, turn the Speed slider all the way up (fastest correction). For a more natural, invisible pitch correction, dial the speed slider back.
What does the Live Pitch Detection do? While you sing, the screen provides real-time visual feedback of your microphone levels and the exact musical note you are hitting, helping you stay on pitch and monitor your performance.
🎚️ Using the Studio Effects Suite
Studio Vocal Recorder uses a powerful AudioKit and JUCE-powered engine to give you professional DAW-level effects. Here is how to use them:
Mic Modeling: Change the tonal character of your phone's microphone to emulate classic, expensive studio mics.
Noise Gate: Eliminate background room noise, headphone bleed, and breaths. Adjust the threshold so it only opens when you are actively singing.
Compressor: Keep your vocal volume consistent. If some words are too quiet and others too loud, use the compressor presets to tame the dynamics.
EQ (Equalizer): Shape your tone. Boost the treble for clarity, or cut the bass to remove muddiness. Choose from tailored vocal presets for quick fixes.
De-Esser: Tame harsh "S" and "T" sounds. Apply this to smooth out high-frequency sibilance.
Exciter: Add some high-end sparkle and harmonic richness to make your vocals sound bright and professional.
Vocal Doubler: Instantly thicken your vocal presence. Great for choruses and ad-libs!
Tape Delay & Reverb: Place your vocals in a 3D space. Use Delay for rhythmic echoes and Plate Reverb for lush, professional room sound.
💾 Exporting & Sharing
How do I save my final song? Navigate to the export menu. You have two options:
Full Mix: Export your final processed masterpiece to share directly with friends or on social media.
Isolated Stems: Bounce your processed, isolated vocal tracks. This is perfect if you want to drop your tuned vocals into another DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) on your computer.
My final take has some background hiss, how do I fix it? Before exporting, apply the built-in Vocal Denoising tool to cleanly strip away any lingering static or room noise from your final take.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I am experiencing lag/delay when I record. How do I fix this? Studio Vocal Recorder is built with a low-latency audio engine. However, using Bluetooth headphones (like AirPods) naturally introduces audio delay. For real-time monitoring and zero-lag recording, always use wired headphones.
Why can I hear background audio bleeding into my vocal recording? This is called "headphone bleed." Ensure your headphone volume isn't so loud that your microphone picks it up, and make sure your Noise Gate is activated and adjusted to block out the background bleed when you aren't singing.
